New things

I did some sheep prints, and am working on the Old Men talking one.  Also that is the spori building where I do all my work, and a picture of me in case you forgot what I look like.  

Whats new

Nothing is new. But I got a nice job in the Grand Tetons at a private ranch for the summer. Can't beat that. Pete's getting married if you haven't heard, on August 23 in Palmyra. Can't beat that either.

Print show

We had a print show at the Museum of Eastern Idaho that opened last night and runs till April. The Museum bought 2 of my pieces for their permanent collection! That was nice of them. These are pictures of a few new prints, and a new plate Im starting of a shrimp, and the print room and presses.

Hello again

Well I decided to write something on my blog. Tomorrow I will put up pictures and itll be even more interesting. But for today I should write that I am doing printmaking now, and that is about all I do. The best artist ever was Rembrandt and he was a printmaker, so I thought I should learn the craft. It has "stolen my heart and has yet to give it back" as Pete says. There are many techniques and processes involved, many of which can be combined. Since this is all I'm doing and thinking about I don't know what else to say.
Idaho is a cold barren wilderness.

Well, Art is Art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water. And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now you tell me what you know.
