I found this invitation used as a bookmark in an old book at my parents house.
"The wintry day, descending to its close,
Invites all wearied nature to repose,
And shades of night are falling dense and fast
Like sable curtains closing o'er the past.
Pale through the gloom the newly fallen snow
Wraps in a shroud the silent earth below
As though 'twere mercy's hand had spread the pall,
A symbol of forgiveness unto all"

-OF Whitney

"And right action is freedom
From past and future also.
For most of us, this is the aim
Never here to be realised;
Who are only undefeated
Because we have gone on trying"

-TS Eliot

"They looked up and saw a star
shining in the east beyond them far
And to the earth it gave great light
And so it continued both day and night"

some paintings

here's a few paintings. If anyone wants to buy one I want to get rid of the other 4. Cheap.

"Remember man that thou art made of clay
and in this world thou hast not long to stay"
