the ghost town of Bannack, MT

These pictures are from Bannack Mt, a gold mining town which has been abandoned for some years. It was built in the mid 1800s and there was even some gallows there but I ran out of space on my camera. We were told that criminals all the way from Utah were taken there to be hung. Among the pictures here are the inside of the saloon, the Hotel, the masonic hall, and a few homes.

Way sweet jazz. I'm going to have to update my own abandoned house hunting with you some time.

It looks like a cool little ghost town with lots to see. Glad you enjoyed the adventure; wish I could have come along!

Looks like a nice place to live. You should move in. Then maybe Andrew and I will join you and we can play some tunes at the saloon. You can be mayor. I'll settle for town sheriff. Andrew can run the library or something...
